Each event will feature separate conference programs running concurrently, while adding the benefit of a joint exhibit hall, where attendees can network with vendors and service providers from both events. Attendees will have the opportunity to register for both programs for a nominal additional fee.

Spouse Brewery Tour

This brewery tour will include a tour and tastings of three Milwaukee-based breweries: Milwaukee Brewing Company, Best Place-Pabst Brewing and Lakefront Brewery. Lunch will be on your own, held at the Lakefront Brewery. Join us as we learn about these Milwaukee staples and have some fun along the way!

Jones Island Facility Tour

Opened in 1926, this facility was designated a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1974. World-renowned for pioneering the way in modern wastewater treatment technology, Jones Island was also one of the first facilities in the world to produce a fertilizer as the by-product of the water reclamation process: Milorganite. Capable of treating more than 300 million gallons a day, the facility is owned and governed by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) and operated and maintained by Veolia Water Milwaukee. Visitors will learn about the history of Jones Island, the water reclamation process, the making of Milorganite, and what we can all do to protect Lake Michigan.

We will host a very special guest speaker that will describe her rise to success in a male-dominated industry. Join us as we celebrate women everywhere and especially, Women in Rural Water.

WaterPro Feud

Be prepared to enjoy and possibly participate in the WaterPro Feud! Adapted from the prime time favorite, watch as State Association teams compete for prizes and more in this game of wits for some "water" related entertainment! Back for it's second year, join us in the WaterPro Exhibit Hall for fun and laughs.

Badger Meter Facility Tour

 Badger Meter is an industry-leading innovator in flow measurement, water quality and control products, serving water utilities, municipalities and commercial and industrial customers worldwide. Join us for a tour of Badger Meter’s manufacturing facility and hydro lab. Learn how they produce some of the world’s more accurate meters. The Badger Meter hydro lab is one of the world’s largest fresh water research and testing facilities. Pumping systems, pressure tanks and an underground 125,000 gallon reservoir of potable water enables engineers to effectively replicate water sources found in residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Rural Water On Display Photo Contest

This year, NRWA is bringing back the photo contest, Rural Water on Display. We would love to recognize some of our incredible members of the Rural Water Family for their high-quality photography! The top 15 (5 per category) photos will be chosen by the photo contest committee to compete for the Grand Overall, which will be voted on by WaterPro attendees at the conference. We want your best depictions of Rural Water. Photos should be relevant to the following categories:
